Please refer to the below online validation/modification procedure for changing email ID, mobile number and address.
Email ID, Mobile Number and Address validation Process:
- Login to BOX
- Click on My Profile
- Under “Personal Details” section click on edit icon at the top right corner
- On the popup, tick mark the checkbox for Address and confirm. Enter a new email ID and mobile number. Make sure the new email ID and mobile number should not already exist with us.
- You will receive email and mobile OTP from your KRA. Enter both the OTPs and verify
- Tick mark to authorize and click on Authenticate Aadhaar.
- Enter your Aadhaar number and click on Next
- Enter the OTP and submit
- Since you have selected to change Address too, it will fetch your address from Aadhaar which is available in DigiLocker. Enter 6 digit pin to login your DigiLocker. Do not have a DigiLocker account? Sign up here. After signup, follow the above procedure again. In case you are changing only Email/Mobile then please skip this and refer to the process from 12th point onwards.
- Click on Allow to provide your consent
- Shows you the KYC completed confirmation
- Now, it will take you automatically to BOX my profile section to make the payment of Rs 30 for e-signing the modification document
- Select the preferred mode to make the payment
- Once the payment is done, click on Proceed to e-sign the modification form that is shown on the screen
- Tick mark the checkbox to agree and click on Sign Document
- Enter Aadhaar number to e-sign the modification form
- After entering the OTP, your document will be e-signed and the page will disappear in a few seconds.
- It will automatically take you to BOX my profile section. You can see the request acceptance confirmation at the bottom of the Personal Details section.
- Your address change request shall be processed in 5-7 working days.
