The initial public offering (IPO) of Ethos Ltd, the largest luxury and premium watch retailer in India, was fully subscribed aided by the Non-Institutional Investors (NII). The IPO was subscribed 1.04 times as it received bids for over 41.38 lakh shares against the offer size of nearly 39.80 lakh shares, according to the data on stock exchanges.

The portion reserved for retail investors was subscribed 84%, while that of Non-Institutional Investors was subscribed 1.48 times. QIB quota received 1.06 times subscription.

Ethos Ltd IPO was open for subscription from May 18 to May 20 and the price band for the issue was Rs 836-878 per share. The consisted fresh issue of shares worth Rs 375 crore and an offer for sale of up to 11.08 lakh shares by shareholders and promoters. The total IPO size was Rs 472.29 crore.

Ethos Ltd is a premium watch retail chain operator which has a watch portfolio of 50 premium brands. These include Omega, Jaeger LeCoultre, Panerai, IWC Schaffhausen, Rado, Longines, Baume & Mercier, Bvlgari, H. Moser & Cie, Oris SA, Corum, Tissot, Raymond Weil, Carl F. Bucherer, Louis Moinet and Balmain. 

The company operates 50 physical stocks in 17 Indian cities in a multi-store format and has 7,000 different premium watches and 30,000 watches in stock at any given time.
